Three people were killed and another injured in a west Dallas shooting early Tuesday, May 26, police said.

Officers responded to a short-term rental in the 3700 block of Vilbig Road about 12:20 a.m. They found four people who’d been shot, police spokesperson Major Bobbie Epperson said at a news conference. Investigators believe the individuals were at the location for a party.

Two of the people died at the scene, and a third died at a hospital. The fourth is in stable condition, according to Epperson. The suspect is still at large.

It’s not clear if the suspect knew the victims. Investigators are interviewing witnesses and trying to learn what led up to the shooting.
