Duncanville ISD teacher arrested, charged with voyeurism involving student
A North Texas teacher was arrested Friday and charged with voyeurism after an investigation of allegations made against him, school district officials said in a statement.
Garrett Michael Davis, a teacher at Duncanville High School, is accused of having an improper relationship with a student and has been placed on administrative leave, according to the statement.
Duncanville ISD police asked the city police department to investigate the claims against Davis after receiving them from school administrators, officials said. The school district is cooperating fully with the investigation.
“Out of an abundance of caution,” school officials are concerned there may be other victims, and anyone with additional information on the case is urged to call Duncanville Police Detective Hernandez at 972-707-3842 or the Duncanville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 972-780-5037.
Because of the nature of the ongoing investigation, additional details were not immediately available Friday.
