27-year-old man identified as victim killed in Fort Worth auto-pedestrian crash

A 27-year-old man has been identified as the pedestrian who was killed earlier this month after being hit by a car in west Fort Worth, according to Tarrant County records.

Matthew Hajar died of blunt force injury, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website.

Fort Worth police responded to the crash in the 8600 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard about 6:25 a.m. on April 10, according to police.

Roger Fernandez, 36, was arrested and faces a charge of collision involving death, according to Tarrant County jail records.
