Grapevine High School evacuated after written bomb threat found in restroom
Grapevine High School was evacuated Monday afternoon after a written bomb threat was found at a campus restroom after school had been dismissed, officials said.
Grapevine police officers and police dogs responded to the school to investigate the threat, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD said in a social media post shortly after 4:30 p.m. No one was allowed to enter the campus during the investigation.
In an updated post about 5:30 p.m., the school district said that police have completed a “thorough investigation and the campus has been fully cleared of any concerns.”
“Normal evening operations will resume and the National Honor Society induction ceremony will begin at its regularly scheduled time of 7 p.m.,” the post read.
The school district is working with law enforcement to investigate the threat, according to the post.
