Three TCU students were injured in a crash at a fraternity party in Oklahoma early Sunday, according to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the crash about 3 a.m. in the area of Highway 7 and Poolville Road near a private property, where a Sigma Phi Epsilon event was taking place, Undersheriff Phil Shepard said.

Three people, who have not been identified, were injured and taken to a hospital, Shepard said. The sheriff’s office did not release information about the condition of the people injured.

The owner of the vehicle involved in the crash has been identified, Shepard said. No arrests have been announced.

The sheriff’s office did not share further details about the crash and said the investigation is ongoing.

TCU 360 reported that the event was called the Outback camping trip and was held at Wildhorse Creek Reservoir Site 10 near Alpers, Oklahoma.

“We are aware that students were injured at an out-of-state activity this past weekend and are working to gather information,” a TCU spokesperson said on Monday. “We have offered a range of support services and send our prayers to those affected.”

“We are aware of an incident involving a member of SigEp’s Texas Gamma chapter at TCU. We are deeply concerned for those who were injured and wish them a full recovery,” a Sigma Phi Epsilon spokesperson said in a statement on Tuesday. “The safety of our members, guests and the campus community is our top priority, and we are cooperating fully with law enforcement and the university as more facts are gathered.”
