Police have arrested two teenagers they accuse of killing one woman and injuring another in a shooting at a north Fort Worth house in November, according to jail records.

Rafael Gallardo, 17, and Obed Torres, 19, were booked on suspicion of murder in the death of 40-year-old Elizabeth Juarez.

Juarez’s body was found in a front bedroom of the house in the 2500 block of Northwest 24th Street on Nov. 20, according to Fort Worth police.

Another woman, who was 60, was found with a gunshot wound to her right shin, treated at a hospital and survived.

“Elizabeth had a way of making everyone feel welcomed — her smile, her warmth and her kindness touched every person who crossed her path,” Juarez’s relatives wrote on a GoFundMe for her funeral expenses. “Her love, strength and generosity will forever live in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.”

Other details on the case and on the suspects’ bond were not immediately available.
