Suspect accused of stabbing man who was placing order at Fort Worth food truck

A suspect accused of stabbing a man while the victim was buying food on Camp Bowie Boulevard was arrested Wednesday night, according to Fort Worth police.

Officers were called about 9 p.m. to a gas station in the 6800 block of Camp Bowie, where they found a victim with a wound to his abdomen.

During their investigation, officers learned that the victim was placing an order at a food truck outside the gas station when the suspect stabbed him for an unknown reason, a police spokesperson said.

The victim, who is a 54-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.

Jail records identify the suspect as 76-year-old Albert Wayne Ware. He faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
