20-year-old man injured in west Fort Worth shooting, police say

A 20-year-old man was shot and injured Monday night in west Fort Worth, police said.

Officers responded to the 5700 block of Farnsworth Avenue about 10:15 p.m. after someone reported their friend had been shot, according to the 911 call sheet.

No arrests have been announced. The injured man was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition, police said. Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit are investigating the shooting.
