An 18-year-old driver was arrested in Fort Worth’s West 7th Street Entertainment District this week after he crashed into a pickup truck and evaded officers, Fort Worth police said.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call shortly after midnight Monday in the 2800 block of Bledsoe Street.

The suspect, Robert McCoy, was driving a woman’s Cadillac without her consent when he “rammed a parked vehicle” and he was taken into custody after a short chase, police said.

McCoy faces charges of evading arrest with a vehicle, aggravated assault against a public servant and interfering with public duties, according to jail records.

Videos shared on social media show a red Cadillac, which police say was driven by McCoy, trying to get out of a parallel parking space and nearly colliding with pedestrians and other vehicles. As the car backs up, it enters the street and moves forward, striking a silver truck.

Two people are seen quickly exiting the truck, and in the background, someone can be heard shouting, “Oh my God!” Police then initiate a chase to catch the driver.
