A suspect in the Labor Day shooting that killed a 30-year-old Bedford man and wounded two others has been arrested, Euless police said on social media Saturday.

Jail records identify the suspect as Samuel Renard Jones, 37, of Fort Worth. Jones faces a murder charge and was being held in the Tarrant County Jail on Sunday. Bond has not been set.

The Fort Worth Police Department assisted with the arrest, according to the Facebook post. Police said they will share more details once the homicide investigation is complete.

The shooting took place around 2 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of Marina’s Restaurant and Club, at 1509 W. Euless Blvd. A fight had broken out among several different groups at the location, according to police, and shots were fired.

Kafo Setaleki Tuha, a former all-district football player at L.D. Bell High School, was shot multiple times and died at a local hospital. The 30-year-old leaves behind a wife and five young children, according to a GoFundMe.

“His greatest joy in life was his family,” the GoFundMe states. “And those who knew him could see how deeply he cared for them every single day.”

Tuha’s memorial service was scheduled for Saturday. His family described him as “a loving husband, devoted father, cherished brother, uncle, and most importantly, a god-fearing man who lived with faith, love, and humility,” according to the GoFundMe.

Money raised through the GoFundMe will help support his wife and children.
