A suspect who tossed firecrackers inside a Fort Worth bank demanded money from tellers during a robbery Thursday, police said.

Officers responded to the Chase Bank at 4425 N. Tarrant Parkway, at the intersection with North Beach Street in north Fort Worth, at about 1 p.m.

The robber threw fireworks on the ground and demanded money, a 911 caller reported.

No arrests have been made. A Fort Worth police spokesperson said the suspect left the scene and officers are on scene investigating.

No one was injured in the robbery. The Fort Worth Fire Department also responded to the bank to assist police.
