Fort Worth woman cut boyfriend with knife, took a hammer to his car, police say

A Fort Worth woman was arrested Thursday after she cut her boyfriend’s hand with a knife, and hit his car with a hammer, police said.

Precious Bryant, 39, faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief, according to Fort Worth jail records.

Police say Bryant was drunk and got into an argument with her boyfriend when he refused to take her to work. She then assaulted him and took a hammer to his car, investigators said.

Officers responded to the domestic disturbance about 4:30 a.m. in the 8500 block of Gatlinburg Drive, in south Fort Worth.

The boyfriend received minor injuries, according to police. Bryant was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail.
