Three injured in early morning fight in north Fort Worth, police say

Three people were injured early Saturday during a fight in north Fort Worth, police said.

Fort Worth Police officers responded to the 1600 block of NW 25th Street about 2:45 a.m. for a cutting call. One person had been assaulted, according to police. Another one was cut on the hand, and a third person received a laceration to the abdomen. All three were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they believe the incident started as a fight but quickly escalated. The Criminal Investigations Unit will look into the circumstances surrounding the cutting. No arrests have been announced.
