Man seriously injured in south Fort Worth shooting, officials say

A man was seriously injured early Friday, April 11, in a south Fort Worth shooting, officials said.

Officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of McCart Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. They found a man who’d been shot in the abdomen, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, according to MedStar.

Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit will investigate the shooting, police said. No arrests have been announced.
