Murder suspect arrested in shooting death of 27-year-old man at west Fort Worth home

A murder suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of a 27-year-old man who was shot in Fort Worth last month. 

A suspect has been arrested in the killing of a 27-year-old man who was shot on the front porch of a Fort Worth home, according to jail records.

Desean Person, 33, was booked into the city jail on Wednesday evening, March 19, and faces a murder charge.

The victim, Jordan Travis Moore, was shot at a house in west Fort Worth on Feb. 5. Officers were dispatched about 2 p.m. to the 5400 block of Blackmore Avenue, where they found Moore with multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics were unable to revive Moore and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Homicide detectives have not released details about what led to the arrest.

On Friday, Person was in the Tarrant County Jail with bond set at $500,000, court records show.
