1 killed in west Fort Worth shooting; homicide detectives investigating, police say

A 27-year-old man was shot and killed at a west Fort Worth home on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 5, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of Blackmore Avenue around 2 p.m. and found the victim on the ground with at least one gunshot wound to his torso, police said.

Medics were unable to revive the man and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Jordan Travis Moore.

The person who reported the shooting said their boyfriend was shot, according to the 911 call log.

No arrests have been made. Homicide detectives are investigating to determine what led to the shooting, police said.
