A person was shot and injured during an attempted robbery in west Fort Worth early Saturday, police said.

Officers responded to the 2200 block of Blythwood Trail around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. They found someone with a gunshot wound in the arm, police said. Investigators believe the shooting occurred during a robbery attempt.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to MedStar. No arrests have been announced.

Robbery detectives were notified, police said.
