1 injured in shooting at Haltom City apartment complex; suspect in custody, police say
Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person at a Haltom City apartment complex Monday night, officials said. A suspect is in custody.
Officers responded to the 5700 block of Coventry Park Drive about 10:15 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, regarding a shots fired call. They saw evidence of a shooting at the scene and found one victim, police said in a social media post.
A suspect was arrested in connection with the shooting. The suspect’s name and potential charges have not been released. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
The wounded person was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
