Stabbing leaves man with critical injuries; suspect arrested, Fort Worth police say

A suspect was arrested after a stabbing near a business in south Fort Worth on Monday, Feb. 3.

Officers were dispatched to a stabbing call in the 9500 block of Southwest Drive about 4:50 p.m. When officers arrived, they learned that a fight between two acquaintances had led to one of them being stabbed, police said.

A suspect was taken into custody. The victim, a 60-year-old man, was critically injured and taken to a local hospital, police said.

A police report identifies the suspect as 68-year-old Ronald Walker, of Fort Worth, who was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, according to a police report. Police found a steak knife in a trash can at the scene, according to the report.

Police said the stabbing remains under investigation.
