Suspects shoot, injure man while trying to break into his vehicle, Fort Worth police say

A 27-year-old man was shot and injured early Friday when he saw three male suspects trying to break into his vehicle, Fort Worth police said.

Officers responded to a local hospital around 1:15 a.m. Nov. 22 regarding a man who had arrived with three gunshot wounds to the arm, officials said.

Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit are investigating the shooting. According to the police report, the incident took place near Erath Street and Howard Street in south Fort Worth.

The victim’s injuries aren’t life-threatening, according to police. No arrests have been announced.
