Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that injured a 22-year-old woman early Tuesday, officials said.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of Avenue K shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 19. They found a victim with gunshot wounds, according to police.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with injuries that not believed to be life-threatening, police said. Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

No arrests have been announced.
