Man killed in shooting at motel on North Main Street, Fort Worth police say

A 42-year-old man was killed in a shooting at a motel on North Main Street early Sunday, Nov. 17, Fort Worth police said.

Northwest division officers responded to the homicide scene in the 3600 block of North Main Street and found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, according to a police statement.

A 911 call log shows police were called about 6 a.m. to the Ranch Motel, at 3620 N. Main St., where the man was reportedly shot in a motel room. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Arturo Clemente.

Medical personnel attempted to resuscitate Clemente, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, police said. No arrests have been announced.
