1 person injured in west Fort Worth shooting; suspect still at large, police say

One person was shot and injured in west Fort Worth early Saturday, Oct. 26, police said.

Officers responded to the 5400 block of Blackmore Avenue around 4 a.m. after a man reported his nephew had been shot, according to the 911 call sheet.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The suspect is still at large.

Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit will investigate the shooting.
