Amber Alert canceled after missing 3-year-old girl found safe, Farmers Branch police say

An Amber Alert has been discontinued after a 3-year-old girl believed to be abducted early Monday in Farmers Branch was found safe, law enforcement authorities said.

The child had last been seen at 5 a.m. in the 2600 block Springvale Drive in Farmers Branch, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Authorities did not describe the circumstances of the abduction when the alert was issued about 9 a.m. In an update shortly after 10 a.m., Farmers Branch police said that the child had been located and is safe.

Someone with information on the abduction was asked to call the Farmers Branch Police Department at 972-484-3620.
