Police seek to ID woman who went with man from Dallas club to Fort Worth before he died

Police homicide unit detectives are trying to identify two women who were recorded in surveillance video in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas before one of them accompanied a 26-year-old man to his apartment in west Fort Worth in the hours before he was found dead.

Devin Danford’s body was discovered on Aug. 27 inside the apartment in the 1700 block of Rogers Street.

The Tarrant County Medial Examiner’s Office has not released the cause and manner of Danford’s death.

Danford was found unresponsive the day after he was with the unidentified woman, Fort Worth police said on Friday as they announced the death investigation and released a segment of the video. He was pronounced dead about 6:45 p.m.
