A man was shot to death on Monday afternoon in the bedroom of a house in south Fort Worth, police said.

The homicide victim, whose name and age the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released, was fired upon about 12:15 p.m. in the 3600 block of College Avenue. He died at the scene.

The victim was shot as multiple assailants entered the house and attempted to rob a person there, Fort Worth police said.

The assailants left the scene in a light-colored vehicle. Police did not announce an arrest.
