Man shot in a robbery at apartment building near downtown Fort Worth, authorities say
A man was shot on Sunday during a possible robbery at an apartment building near downtown Fort Worth, authorities said.
The man was shot about 8 p.m. at 1000 Henderson St. A Fort Worth police spokesperson said he did not have information to answer a reporter’s question about whether the victim was inside the building, known as The Henderson, or outside it when he was shot.
The man was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, said a spokesperson for MedStar, the city’s emergency medical service authority.
The assailants were not in custody, the police spokesperson said on Monday morning.
