Boy shot during robbery in Fort Worth dropped off at West 7th apartments, police say

A boy was shot once in a leg late Monday in a robbery in Fort Worth and ended up on West 7th Street, police said.

A boy was shot once in the leg late Monday in a robbery north of downtown Fort Worth, police said.

The youth, whose age police did not release, told an officer he was near Cold Springs Road and Garvey Street when he was twice fired upon by a person he does not know, Fort Worth police said.

The boy said he was dropped off at the Firestone at West 7th Apartments in the 1000 block of West 7th Street. Police were called there about 11:15 p.m.

The boy was taken to a hospital. His condition was stable, police said.

Police did not on Tuesday announce an arrest.
