A man was on FaceTime on Tuesday night when an assailant knocked on the door of a house in south Fort Worth and shot him several times, police said.

A man was on FaceTime on Tuesday night when an assailant knocked on the door of a house in south Fort Worth and shot him several times, police said.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body that are life-threatening, a Fort Worth police spokesperson said.

The victim was shot about 10:30 p.m. at a house in the 1200 block of East Mulkey Street. He was taken in a private vehicle to a hospital.

The assailant left the house after the shooting and was not in custody on Wednesday, police said.
