Two men shot at McDonald’s in Dallas; two dozen rounds fired from rifle, police say

A man was shot to death and another was injured early Wednesday at a fast food restaurant in the Oak Lawn section of Dallas, KDFW-TV reported.

The men were shot outside the McDonald’s at Lemmon Avenue and the Dallas North Tollway, the television station reported.

A man in his 20s was found in a car at the business. The other victim, also in his 20s, was lying on the street, KDFW reported. It was not clear whether the men fired upon each other.

Police found a handgun covered in blood near the car and about two dozen casings fired from a rifle at the scene, the station reported.

The shooting occurred about 3:20 a.m., KTVT-TV reported.
