One woman was killed and four other people were wounded in a shooting early Sunday in Dallas, police said.

The people — three women and two men — were shot about 5 a.m. in the 3000 block of Al Lipscomb Way, just west of Fair Park.

A woman died on the ground at the scene, Dallas police said.

A woman was taken by ambulance to a hospital in a condition police described as stable. A woman and two men with injuries that are not life-threatening were taken in private vehicles to hospitals.

Police did not announce an arrest.
