A man was shot on Saturday night in a west Fort Worth neighborhood, police said.

The man, whose wound is not life-threatening, was shot about 10:30 p.m. in the 4900 block of Borden Drive, a Fort Worth police spokesperson said.

Another man was assaulted at the same location, the spokesperson said. Both were taken to a hospital.

Police did not describe other circumstances of the shooting and assault and did not announce an arrest.

The matter was under investigation, the spokesperson said.
