Man killed in Redbird area; 1 suspect in custody, Dallas police say

A man was killed in the Redbird area of Dallas on Tuesday night and a suspect is in custody, police said.

Officers responded to the 700 block of Goldwood Drive around 7:10 p.m. regarding a call for service. They found a man unresponsive on the ground with unspecified injuries, according to police. The victim died from his injuries.

Police arrested Corey Sneed, 40, who faces a charge of murder. Officials haven’t publicly identified the victim or said how they connected Sneed to the killing.
