Bedford stabbing victim identified; his son-in-law is charged with his murder, police say
A North Richland Hills man has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of his father-in-law Tuesday morning, Bedford police said.
According to a Thursday Facebook post by the Bedford Police Department, Anthony Paul Chaffin, 28, is being held in the Tarrant County Jail in connection with the killing of Jason Keith Enos.
Bedford police found Enos, 41, with multiple stab wounds around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Shady Lane. The Hurst man was later pronounced dead at a North Richland Hills hospital.
Police said Chaffin and Enos were arguing outside over a family matter and the situation escalated into violence. The argument happened outside a home where a friend of Enos’ lives, according to the release.
Chaffin’s bond has been set at $200,000, according to jail records.
