Elderly man shot twice in west Fort Worth hospitalized in stable condition

A man in his 70s was hospitalized Sunday after police said he was shot twice in his upper body.

The man, who was shot at an apartment complex in the 32900 block of Shalako Drive in west Fort Worth about 11:50 a.m., was in stable condition.

Police described the incident as being related to an ongoing feud between neighbors.

Police had three people in custody Sunday but did not release further details. The gun violence team is investigating.
