Fort Worth man dies after drive-by shooting in Stop Six; no arrests made yet
A drive-by shooting in Stop Six on Saturday left a man dead, police said.
Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call at about 5:11 p.m. in the 5500 block of Norris Street, said Tracy Carter, Fort Worth police spokesperson. Officers learned a drive-by shooting had taken place and a man had been shot.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he later died. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Dijion Wilson, 20.
Wilson lived at the address where he was shot and died from a gunshot wound to his left shoulder, according to the medical examiner’s website.
Fort Worth police have not announced any arrests and didn’t have the model of the car used in the shooting.
The homicide case is under investigation and no additional information was available.
