Missing elderly couple last known to be driving van in Fort Worth found safe, authorities say
A missing couple last known to be driving in Fort Worth have been found safe, authorities said.
The announcement was made on the Facebook page of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, which had asked for help to find the couple on Tuesday.
Authorities did not provide any other details.
Before they were found, Jay and Shirley Brown had last been in contact with someone about 6 p.m. Monday, officials at the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said. The couple was driving near Interstate 20 and Hemphill Street in Fort Worth.
Jay Brown is 85 and Shirley Brown is 82.
