Teen shot in abdomen in east Fort Worth, police say
A 16-year-old boy is in stable condition after he was shot in the lower abdomen in east Fort Worth late Monday night, police said.
The details of how the shooting happened were unclear as of Tuesday morning.
The shooting occurred about 11:40 p.m. Monday in the 6900 block of Sandybrook Drive, police said. The teen was taken in an ambulance to a hospital.
Detectives were then notified of the incident, police said.
The teen wasn’t cooperating with police in providing information, a department spokesperson said in an email.
