Hurst man shot and killed in apartment Saturday night, police say; suspect in custody
A man was shot and killed in an apartment at the Whispering Run Apartments in Hurst around 9 p.m. Saturday night, police said in a news release Sunday.
Police said the suspected shooter fled the scene to an adjacent apartment but he surrendered after negotiations with police.
The scene is being investigated and police are interviewing witnesses but have not yet released any other information. Police said more information about the suspect and victim will be available as the investigation continues.
The Whispering Run Apartments complex is at 600 Bellaire Drive.
