Fort Worth police search for pickup driver suspected in hit-and-run death of pedestrian
Fort Worth police are asking the public for assistance finding a pickup truck driver suspected of striking a pedestrian as she was walking in the 5700 block of East Rosedale Street on Wednesday.
The pedestrian died from her injuries following the hit-and-run collision. Her name has not been released. The incident occurred about 9:30 p.m. as the woman was crossing the street, according to police.
The vehicle is believed to be a Chevrolet Silverado, possibly between the model years of 2008 and 2011, outfitted with a lift and large rims.
The truck may have sustained damage to its front right side, police said.
