Armed man shot to death inside Arlington home where another man, woman were present

A man was shot to death early Tuesday morning after he showed up with a gun at an Arlington home where another man and a woman were inside, police said.

As a confrontation broke out inside the residence, someone else fatally shot the man, the department said in a news release. Police are considering the possibility that the conflict involved two men who were involved in romantic relationships with the woman at the home.

Ian Danrell Ntiranyuhura, 22, of Justin, was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as the victim.

Detectives determined the man arrived at the residence in the 8000 block of Shoshoni Drive sometime before 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, police said. He was armed with a gun and entered the house.

Police said the department was still investigating if he forced his way into the home.

At some point, an individual shot him during an argument, police said. Detectives on Tuesday morning were looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the relationships between those involved.

No arrests have been made in connection with the fatal shooting, police said.

The case will be presented to the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office before possibly moving on to a grand jury.
