Fort Worth police ask for information on hit-and-run driver who severely injured woman

The Fort Worth Police Department is asking the public for information on a hit and run, according to a Thursday Fort Worth police press release.

At about 10:50 p.m. on June 6, a woman was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection of North Main Street and 14th Street, according to the release. She had severe injuries.

The vehicle was described as a mid-2000s dark gray Chevrolet Silverado four-door pickup truck.

Witnesses also describe the truck as low with a heavy-duty front end. It’s most likely missing the trim piece between the headlight and the running light, police said.

The truck left the scene after hitting the victim.

Anyone with information should call 817-392-4869.
