Two people seriously wounded in Fort Worth shooting, police say
Two people were seriously wounded in an early Monday shooting on a Fort Worth street, according to authorities.
A 19-year-old woman was shot in the incident.
A man also told Fort Worth police he had been shot.
Both were taken to local hospitals in serious condition, according to a MedStar spokesman.
Fort Worth police responded to the shooting call shortly before 2 a.m. in the 5300 block of East Rosedale Street..
Someone called and reported that a woman had been shot, according to a police call log.
When they arrived, police found a woman who had been shot twice.
The call log also stated that a caller said he also had been shot. The unknown gunman had fled on foot.
The wounded man got into a vehicle and left the scene, but that vehicle was stopped by officers.
Police did not release any information on a motive or suspects in the shooting.
