12-year-old girl missing for a day found safe, Fort Worth police say

A 12-year-old girl who went missing on Thursday has been found safe, police said Saturday morning.

Laloni Jones went missing around 7 p.m. Thursday. She had last been seen at Ederville Road and Sandy Lane at the Eastside YMCA and had been missing for more than a day, police said.

A police report classified her as a runaway.

Police announced on Twitter and Facebook Saturday morning that she had been found. She returned home early in the morning, police said in an email.
