Fight leaves man fatally shot in Arlington; search continues for gunman

Arlington detectives are searching for a gunman after a man was fatally shot Sunday night during an altercation, Arlington police said Monday.

Police said the victim was a man in his 40s.

The shooting was reported about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of McQueary Street.

Detectives believe an argument between the the victim and suspect escalated into the shooting.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said
