Arlington man shot and killed by wife in suspected domestic disturbance, police say
An Arlington man is dead after his wife shot him Monday and called police following what investigators believe was a domestic disturbance, according to a news release from police.
The woman, 45-year-old Wendy Behnke, has been arrested and booked on one count of murder, police said.
The shooting happened around 8 a.m. Monday at the 7900 block of Corona Court in Arlington. The man was unresponsive when police arrived and died at a local hospital.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Larry Steven Behnke, 49.
