Man killed in shooting in Arlington after residents hear arguing, police say
A man was killed in a shooting in Arlington early Tuesday morning after residents in the area heard arguing, police said.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim after contacting the next of kin.
Officers responded around 4:55 a.m. to a report of an unresponsive man at an apartment complex in the 800 block of North Oak Street, police said. They found a man lying on the sidewalk with what looked like a single gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Residents told officers they heard arguing and one gunshot around 1 a.m., police said.
Investigators were at the scene through the morning canvassing the area for evidence.
No suspect had been arrested as of Tuesday afternoon.
