Fort Worth police seek women who drugged, robbed man. One suspect used hand sanitizer.
Here’s a holdup where there was a clean getaway, sort of.
A hotel surveillance camera captured one robber using hand sanitizer when she entered the north Fort Worth hotel on April 15, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, police say.
The other robber was not seen sanitizing her hands.
The two fled after drugging and robbing a man in a room at the hotel, police said.
Fort Worth police appealed on Monday for help to identify the two women accused of drugging a 53-year-old Gladewater man on April 15 and robbing him of his credit cards.
Police released surveillance video of the women at the hotel in hope that someone would recognize them and contact authorities.
The robbery occurred between 8 and 9 p.m. on April 15.
The surveillance video showed the women entering the hotel and it also captured them as they exited an elevator.
The women, who police say appear to be in their 20s, robbed the man in his hotel room.
Police did not release any further details of the holdup.
