One arrested after traffic stop nets more than 120 pounds of methamphetamine in Dallas
Dallas narcotics officers seized more than 120 pounds of methamphetamine earlier this week during a traffic stop in Dallas.
One person also was arrested in the case.
Narcotics officers stopped a local drug suspect about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in a neighborhood in southwest Dallas.
During a search the vehicle, officers located 55 kilograms of methamphetamine, or 121 pounds of the drug, wrapped in plastic bags.
Dallas police identified the suspect as 38-year-old Hugo Gonzalez.
No other arrests were made at the scene.
