Detectives investigate killing in south Fort Worth; no suspect in custody

A man was shot to death on Saturday evening in south Fort Worth, police said.

The victim, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Joseph Glenn Williams, 24, was slain about 6:15 p.m. in the 4600 block of Shackleford Street, police said. He lived at the address where he was killed, according to the medical examiner’s report.

A suspect was not in custody, and a department spokesman did not release details of the killing.

Homicide detectives were to investigate.
